PLD on Breadboard Programming WARNING!
When you connect your DE10-Lite PLD PCB to your computer with a USB cable,
verify that the 7-segment display shows "3701". If not, use the Quartus
archive file, safe_3701.qar, to put
your DE10-Lite into a "safe mode." Program this design using the ".pof".
Only program your subsequent labs (or other assignments) using ".sof" files.
When your DE10-Lite is not being used, remove the USB connector from your computer
(not from the DE10-Lite). (When not in use, I suggest that you leave your USB
connected to your DE10-Lite and your DE10-Lite connected to your breadboard
with the ribbon cable.)
When wiring up a new circuit, keep the DE10-Lite and breadboard un-powered.
When your circuit wiring is complete, plug in the USB cable to your computer
and then program the DE10-Lite using an ".sof" file.
