I'd like share a problem that I saw during my technical interview with
a company called _______.
Those questions were very similar to the ones you gave in 3701 [and 4712 and
4744]. So please also let the students know that working hard in 3701, 4712,
and 4744 really pays off when it comes to job interviews.
here is the question, the first part is, using a D-FF to creat an output
signal that's half the input clock frequency. this one is easy. the second
part is more interesting, it asks for 1/3 of the input frequency (with 50%
duty cycle). i don't think i answered it 100% correct, but close. i thought
it might be a good exercise for one of your classes.
anyway, just want to say thank you again, i've always enjoyed learning from
you and hope other students feel the same.
