Dr. Schwartz:
I hope you and your family are enjoying a fun and relaxing thanksgiving.
Not only because this is thanksgiving but something I've been thinking
about for awhile I'd like to share with you.
As an undergraduate you were one of the most motivating and encouraging
professors I encountered. As I progressed through your classes I noticed
not only that you saw my potential but that you noticed the potential in
almost all your students and helped them very diligently find positions
or paths to greater success. Never have I seen a professor work so hard
for his students on such a broad scale and with so much detail.
I feel strongly that it is professors like you and Dr. Arroyo in MIL that
make electrical engineering at UF what it has become and why students from
our department are so attractive to companies.
You see my potential and even when my performance left something to be
desired you praised the qualities about me that set me apart ... You
had faith in me. It's this understanding of your students situations
that allows for students who may be in difficult spots in there lives
to continue forward and not give up.
I want to thank you for all that you've done and you should know that I
speak extremely highly of you to all students and staff.
Best Wishes,
XXXXXXXX
