Drs. Schwartz and Lynch:
This is a thank you email. My name is Albert Teira, a UF student, and I am
currently interning at the Folsom Design Core at Intel located in Folsom,
California. I just wanted to let you know how well prepared I was when I
got here. In the first few days, I have been given a lot of reading which
I have been able to get through quickly because of my preparation. Classes
like 4712, 4744, 3701, and 5666 come to mind first and are no doubt the
most inportant and enjoyable classes I have taken at UF.
So I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for preparing me for
this great internship. My team (2 design engineers and myself) will be
developing the next version of SpeedSolver, an application that finds the
slowest paths in the Pentiums and fixes them using "push button" methods.
The program will be used to improve the P4. I don't know all the
specifics, but just getting the opportunity to be apart of it is special.
Well, I guess thats all I wanted to say, hope you guys have a good Spring.
