Hi Dr. Schwartz,
I took EEL 4744 and I took EEL 5666 with you last summer and without a doubt, that
class set me apart from the applicants. Almost every interviewer wanted to know about
BART (the bartending robot). In fact, I can say it helped me land the job I have at
They have a robotics division that offers phenomenal salaries and it's a great work
environment, but I turned that position down because it does involve a substantial
amount of travel. However, I'll be working in their I&C division. Part of their work
involves programming micro controllers ... There are several UF graduates working
there and the courses they all look for is C++, assembly, Microprocessors, and
Digital Design. In fact, two of the people I will be working with had you for
Microprocessors and Digital Design.
Thanks
