Robot: AutoStumpy
AutoStumpy is an upper body actuated
autonomous dynamically walking robot. This robot will demonstrate
control of dynamic walking gaits in locomotion using self contained
power and computing resources.
Anis Manshad
Robot: #5
#5 is a hand with 4 fingers and a
thumb. #5 will sense and grab objects within its grasp. The
robot will then determine the temperature of the held object.
Isaac Rieksts
Robot: Columbus the First
Columbus the First will go from point A
to B and back. He will map everything in-between the
points. The map will be displayed on an LCD.
Jacob Collums
Robot: PS
PS (Precision Shooter) will shoot a
ball through a hoop. This robot solves the IEEE SoutheastCon 2007
hardware competition problem. Just as UF won the 2006 NCAA
college basketball championship, PS will win a 2007 championship.
Gorang Gandhi
Robot: Koolio
Koolio is a combination of R2D2 and a
vending machine. He travels the 3rd floor hallway in MAEB,
delivering cold beverages to the faculty and students in MIL.
Kyle L. Carithers
Robot: MiniRanger
MiniRanger is a four wheel drive
autonomous vehicle designed to navigate through a miniature urban
environment. MiniRanger has a vision system for tracking and
following various items.
Jean E. Belcourt
Robot: Mr. Clean
Mr. Clean is an autonomous robot that picks up trash from the floor.
