One of the 3701 PIs told me the following: <br>
If you are trying to bootcamp a MacBook (or use some other VM [virtual machine]), you can use the trial version of Windows 10 available 
<a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO" target="top">
here</a>.
During the process of installing it on your computer, it will ask you for a Windows key at some point. Click the option to enter a key at a later time, and you will be able to use Windows for the foreseeable future. I [the 3701 PI] have been using the trial version for close to a year with no problems, and it is able to run all the software required for this course. This will not work for M1 Macs.
