Billy the Amazing Broom Balancer
Kristopher Anderson Billy will balance an inverted pendulum, and look fabulous while doing it. Final Report

Adam Barnett AJ will play the game of blackjack. AJ deals cards to up to 5 players and plays the dealer hand himself. He will be able to accept commands from players such as "hit" or "stay" as well as be able determine who wins and who loses. Final Report

Hoodie & the Blowfish
Vilija Baublyte Hoodie and the Blowfish will automatically do the following: feed the aquarium fish once a day, turn on the light of the aquarium in the morning and turn it off at night, check pH and temperature of the water, and verify that there is enough water in aquarium If there is not enough water in the fishtank, the robot will add more water. NumBot
Max Billingsley NumBot will locate blocks with numbers on them, position itself with a block, grab an image of the block using a camera, determine the number on the block using image processing software, and finally respond based on that determination. Final Report
Shotbot
Aaron Chinault Shotbot will wander the edge of a bar until a patron taps it on the shoulder. It will then turn to the patron and request/validate a token, check proof of age, and then allow the patron to select a shot from Shotbot's internal database. Shotbot will then mix the shot and present the patron with it. After dispensing a shot Shotbot will continue on around the bar until it finds another patron. Final Report
DR Autobus
Penelope Herrera DrAutoBus is a robot bus that will navigate by following a line. It will stop at several bus shelters to pick up passengers, and then drop them off at their desired stops. Final Report

Michael Damron The officer robot tracks down the offender robot and drags it to the jail cell. Final Report

William Dubel Gizmo will follow a line looking for empty soda cans. It will pick up and place the blue cans to one side of the line, and the rest of the cans to the other. Final Report

Mohsan Habibi Navi-GATOR will use a sonar ground positioning system to determine the locations (coordinates) of detected objects, and present this information to the user. Final Report

John Mercado Wesley is a mobile trash bin that moves to its user, receives trash, then returns to his home base. Final Report

Stacey Larese SplatBot will roam around until it is in its' target's "range". SplatBot will then align its gun with the target using a laser pointer. Once allignment is accomplished, it will shoot a paintball at its target. Final Report
Fishin' Chips
Andrew Lilly Fishin' Chips is an intelligent radio-controlled motor-boat that uses pseudo- Doppler radio-location guidance to home-in on an active beacon. Applications for such a platform include materials ferrying, emergency distress signal (ELT) response, and may eventually include autonomously catching fish! Final Report

Jeffrey Putney Wi-Scan will follow walls and avoid obstacles and report on it's activities through email and a website over a wireless connection. Final Report
