Stupid turtles

This picture was taken in a small pond at the base of the 10,000 Buddha monastery. There are about 2 dozen turtles piled on this one rock in the pond, yet, there were several other rocks no more than a few feet away, completely empty. I don't think we have to worry about these things taking over the world anytime soon...
