Jacob Panikulam SubjuGator SubjuGator requires no human intervention to perform a variety of underwater tasks, including visual servoing for manipulation, precise torpedo firing, 3D tracking of acoustic pingers, mapping and localization, and more. It does this all without the aid of GPS (a boon to many surface robots), leveraging only its cameras and an acoustic sensor called a Doppler Velocity Log. Subjugator estimates its state using an Unscented Kalman Filter, fusing data from cameras, DVL, a barometric depth sensor and an IMU. William Case DAN Robot DAN Robot combines an internal map with computer vision to dynamically follow the shortest path on a course between two points. Jason Nezvadovitz, Matthew Griessler, Jacob Panikulum, Jake Easterling, Andrew Gray, David Soto, Zach Goins, Patrick Emami, Ralph Leyva, Mary Grace Zmuda, Morgan Wixted, Khaled Hassan, … SubjuGator, UF's Robot Submarines SubjuGator is an autonomous submarine.  Our latest SubjuGator is one of eighth that we have built over the last 18 years.  Our subs are a past world champions, having won 3 world championships over the last 10 years, and came in second in 2012,  2013, and 2014.
