In this picture, you see the body of my robotic tank that is about to be built into a wonderfull masterpeice :). It is completely made out of aluminum (except for the hinges that are made out of steel which let's me raise the top to access the inerds). The holes are already drilled and ready for me to put the motors in. This robots main objective is to, move into a maize (using ultrasonic sensors so it wont bump into the wall) and find a weak spot in the wall. It will then turn towards that weak spot and push out an arm, it will then proceed to move into the wall and eventually run it over. It will then proceed into the maize finding its way around by ultrasonic, with the occasional bowling over of a wall to get to the other side, and then proceeding untill it reaches the end of a maze. this picture is one of my robot with it's top closed: In these newer pictures you can see the progress that I have made by putting the motors in and placing the XBC where I want it, in more pictures farther down you can see I have already put the telescoping head where I want it. 5/25/05 Also here is a picture of my team (more pictures shall be displayed later) |
